About

The information healthcare workers deserve

After Rounds is an anonymous, voyeuristic professional network for non-physician healthcare workers. We're building the platform we wished existed when we were making career decisions.

Our Mission

Healthcare workers face a fundamental problem: information asymmetry.

When you're considering a new unit or hospital, you're negotiating blind. You don't know what others are paid. You don't know if the unit is chronically understaffed. You don't know if management is supportive or toxic. You find out after you've already signed.

Meanwhile, employers have all the information. They know market rates. They know their retention numbers. They know which units are struggling.

After Rounds exists to balance this equation.

By collecting anonymous, verified insights from healthcare workers across hospitals and agencies, we create transparency where none existed. You get to see what people don't say at work - before you commit.

What We Believe

Transparency creates fairness

When workers share information freely, everyone benefits. Information hoarding only serves those with power.

Privacy enables honesty

People can only be truthful when they feel safe. Anonymity isn't a feature - it's the foundation.

Collective intelligence beats isolation

One person's experience is an anecdote. Thousands of experiences become undeniable signal.

Healthcare workers deserve better

You care for others. Someone should be looking out for you. We're trying to be that someone.

What We're Not

We're not a job board. We don't take money from hospitals or agencies to promote positions. Our users are healthcare workers, and our loyalty is to them.

We're not a social network. There are no likes, followers, or engagement metrics. This isn't about building a personal brand. It's about getting information.

We're not for employers. Hospitals and agencies cannot access the platform, cannot post, and cannot see individual responses. This is a workers-only space.

How We Maintain Quality

Anonymous platforms can devolve into noise. We've thought carefully about how to prevent that while protecting privacy.

  • 1
Verification without identification. We verify that users are healthcare workers without storing identifying information.
  • 2
Pattern detection. We look for consistency across multiple independent sources. Single outliers don't define a unit's reputation.
  • 3
Community moderation. Healthcare workers know what rings true and what doesn't. We empower the community to flag concerns.
